Thesis research method practice

You may be a thesis student who is (or is interested in) using Discursive Psychology Analysis as a research method. Or who has a supervisor using the method in their scholarship.

It may all seem ‘a bit confusing’, most research methods are when it comes to application. Also, you could be feeling some self-doubt as to your ability to understand and apply the method; perfectly reasonable given the context
(Thesis research project!).

So, I created a practice worksheet (freebie). And the activities can be set to ‘rinse and repeat,’ however many times you like. One of my clients said (I’m paraphrasing), “I’ll take them to supervision meetings, to track my skills and comprehension.”

This too, could be you ~:-)

Though, full disclosure, I do not value this research method, given the social constructionist and critical perspectives the method draws on; I’m not a reductionist, nor am I deterministic, and I don’t think ‘power struggles’ are the default for human functioning.
